We're a small agency of dedicated creatives and tech-heads based in London, doing big-agency work. Founded in 2001, the company has grown from a freelance business to an efficient team working in branding, creative design, web and mobile-app development.

MakeMeBelieve was founded by
Ruh al-Alam (Art Director) with
Abdul Hamid (Head of Digital) who both lead on all projects.

The team boasts several key creatives and digital experts working on online and offline projects. We also bring in many freelancers and specialists to boost production, all the while keeping our costs realistic.

Heads design and is main client liason and project lead. It is rumoured he was raised by a pack of wild Apple Macs.

Abdul Hamid

Head of Digital

Does the wiring behind all digital projects. Some say he eats circuitry for breakfast - all we know is that he's called The Code Stig.

Iythar

Head of Arabic Design

Our multilingual advisor on our Arabic projects. She also heads quality control, we call it OCD or overly creative disorder.

Head of Motion

Visual effects supremo and master video editor. Has a Star Wars ring tone on his phone that he never likes to interrupt.

Mehedi

Web Developer

The fastest hands on the wild web. A WordPress and front-end guru with an overly healthy appetite for fruit cocktails.

Rajul

Senior Designer

Senior designer on all things typography and print. Also known as 'The Fridge' for his eat-when-bored diet (pic coming soon)

Creative motion and 3D artist. Ironically he is also a cameraman who is camera shy.

We strive to live by fair and ethical creative practices. We avoid the promotion of gambling, intoxicants, drugs and other content that may offend people's beliefs and sensibilities. We also have a small carbon footprint. We call it 'creative work with a conscience'.

We believe in truth and honesty - the cornerstone to our success. We always try to be transparent and fair: what you see is what you get. We strictly apply this ethos to our advertising and marketing concepts too.

We are an eclectic mix of cultures and we like to think we understand many different audiences. Other than being multilingual, we offer great insights into different cultural habits and trends. We are also very well known for our leading work for Muslim and Arab markets.

Process

Every project is unique and requires an equally unique process to achieve its aims and goals.

But we have, through experience, devised a four-stage plan that works for most and it goes something like this:

Define

Before beginning any project, we work closely with the client to define their aims and goals, so that we're on the same page. A poor brief or specification usually results in a failed project.

Invent

At this stage, it's all about ideas and visualising the product. We design, sketch and propose concepts. Designs are reviewed and improved before deciding on a final direction.

Make

The design goes into production; for digital projects this means actual build, production and coding. At this stage we also do extensive testing, training of client staff and optimisation.

Deploy

For digital projects, we launch or push out to market and then monitor statistics while suggesting possible improvements based on user interaction. We cover social networks, printing and viral marketing.
